How do I take my dog's measurements?
We know it's not always easy to know your furry friend's size for each brand of clothing or accessories! That's why at the bottom of all our products you'll find a detailed size guide, adapted to each model. Our selection is made up of different brands, so we recommend checking the size separately for each product!
So, how do you measure your pet correctly? Here's our step-by-step guide:
First, position your dog correctly, in a stress-free environment, so the procedure is quick and easy for both of you :)
- With your dog standing, wrap the measuring tape around the base of the neck, where the collar usually sits. Make sure you can slip two fingers between the tape and the neck for a comfortable fit.
- For the chest measurement, wrap the tape around the widest part of the chest, usually just behind the front legs.
- For the back, start at the base of the neck and measure along the spine to the base of the tail. You can do this step while your furry friend is standing or even lying on their side.
Remember to be patient in order to take your furball's measurements calmly and reward him at the end if he is used to it!
